Keurig Bottle Warmer Hack

Is your baby screaming and you need to warm a bottle and fast? Use your Keurig! This probably applies to all babies, but my daughter has never been patient when it comes to waiting for a bottle to warm. In fact, she becomes a screaming banshee. I tried a few different bottle warmers before settling on Dr. Brown’s. I love that bottle warmer,  but it still takes five minutes or more to warm a bottle. I am able to heat her formula much more quickly with this Keurig bottle warmer hack.

How to Warm a Bottle Faster

That may not sound like long, but every second can feel like a minute when your baby is screaming. One day we were visiting grandma and grandpa and Livvy wanted a bottle and wanted it now. Instead of heating some water in the microwave to place the bottle into warm-up, I decided  to brew a cup of hot water through the Keurig. It takes maybe 20 seconds, is way hotter than hot water out of the faucet, and you can just plop the bottle in the mug and come back in a few minutes.

If you don’t have a bottle warmer, or don’t have one with you, the keurig is a great way to get instant hot water and submerging the bottle has it warm in less than three minutes!

  1. Oh my lanta, that is genius!!!!

  2. Great idea for people who give the bottle. Iv’e breast feeded both my kids and still do with my youngest who is 15 months. But I could only imagine how hard it must be to wait for the bottle go get warm when you have a hungry screaming baby 😀

  3. I love this !! So simple and genius !!

  4. Oh my goodness. What a great idea! Why didn’t I ever think of that! So smart!

  5. Such a great hack! Never thought of this but will be helpful for mommies for sure!

  6. Omg, I use this too! How amazing is it?! SO much quicker than sitting at the sick waiting for the water to get hot.

  7. What a great hack! Thanks for sharing.

  8. Such a great idea!! Wish I would of thought of this when my daughter was a baby. One thing to add is parents should make sure the bottle is safe to add in boiling water. Great post though!
